Blog Parade - My favorite garden book

Garten2null calls on bloggers to their favorite garden books present in a garden blog parade. This is not easy - how should women choose when garden literature generally or in the broadest sense, all the shelves stocked?

One of my first blog post is titled "Decorative favorite reading" . What I wrote was, still valid. And so I forgive the title of Beverley Nichols and his book "Green Grows the City." His seasoned with typical English garden humor novels are still unsurpassed. The reader and the reader can expect no precise planting instructions, one or the other tip seems perhaps a little strange, and over his image of women can also be divided, the books are amusing but in any case. If Nichols describes as his efforts to pull cyclamen from seed or comfort during a strong earthquake with the thought that these shocks lead to wonderfully healthy cracks in the new herbaceous border, it can reproduce any avid gardener. This here is representative of all horticultural Nichols books mentioned titles from 1939 appears in these days in Schöffling Published in German under the title "Green happiness - Story of a Garden".
